The Photochemical Recycling System shown here is the result of over a years work to provide a mechanical design to compliment the Industrial design done by IDEO if Palo Alto, California.  IDEO is one of the premier design houses in the United States.  They were contracted by Mark Burns, then President of Photochemical Recycling Systems Inc., to provide industrial design services for the machine which was to recycle photo-chemicals used in radiology labs.

I was hired to provide the mechanical design.  The industrial design provided the outside shape, or form, and it was my responsibility to turn the conceptual design into something that could be manufactured.

Upon completion, we were awarded the silver medal for product design in the 2000 IDEA awards competition for products in the medical category.
